How much wire do I need?:When measuring for the length of wire that you require for your zip wire, please follow these simple instructions to help you:
1) Please measure the circumference of the tree to be used as the receiving end
2) Then measure from the centre of the receiving end tree to the centre of the tree (or support) to be used as the starting tree
3) Add together both measurements and then add on 3m to find the amount you need to order
4) Round up to the nearest 5m

Please read and take into consideration:
When installing a zip wire for use with trees, you will need to drill a hole in the tree at the sending end for the wire to pass through and then be connected to the cable tensioner, which is fixed to the back of the tree.
Do not worry if you cannot drill through the tree as there is another way to get around this. Please call for details
Delivery Information:Your goods for this product will be delivered in 2 parts. The hardware will be delivered directly to you from For Outdoors and the wire will be delivered directly to you from our manufacturer.

Delivery of this product to Mainland England, Wales and certain Scottish postcodes (see below) is included in our price and whilst every effort is made by the carriers to deliver your delivery normally within 48 hours of despatch - please allow up to 5 working days.
Additional carriage charges apply to delivery areas outside of these areas and can be found below along with the expected delivery service. Delivery to these other areas is normally between 2 - 5 working days from despatch, but please allow up to 7 working days.

Need help with a Zip Wire Installation?:The fitting of any of our garden zip wire kits is not as hard as you might think and is certainly nothing to be afraid of. However, if you are looking for someone in the South or South East of England to come along and advise and install a zip wire for you then please contact Jon Dowd on 07710575592 who will be happy to be of service to you.
Please follow these simple Do and Don't rules:Whilst this zip wire kit will provide many hours of fun to all the family, to have the best fun of all please make sure that you read and follow these simple Do's and Dont's.
Do's:Make sure that this zip wire is used under adult supervision at all times.
Make sure that this is only be used by children over the ages of 6.
If young children are using this zip wire you might want to consider that they use a safety harness
Make sure that you allow plenty of room in which to operate this zip wire.
Make sure and check, at least once a week, that all bits are in a safe and good working order before use.
Dont's:DO NOT allow to be used by more than 1 person at a time.
DO NOT exceed the maximum user weight: 133 kgs (21 stone).
DO NOT stand on the seat at any time.

Zip wires (also known as Aerial Runways, Flying Foxes or Tyrolean crossings) can be dangerous if installed incorrectly or on the wrong sort of site and it is therefore strongly advised that the customer, who is buying this equipment, should carry out their own Risk Assessment of the area/site to be used and must be happy that they are satisfied with this risk assessment.
It is highly recommended that you carry out a safety inspection on completion of the installation of the zip wire equipment and that the equipment should be continually inspected on a regular basis.
